This disk is a result of a fruitful collaboration between a megastar of Central Asian pop-music, Yalla drummer Alisher Tulyaganov, and a famous folk-musician and vocalist, Abdulla Shomagrupov. A tasteful collection of regional traditional songs and instrumental compositions performed only on acoustic string instruments -- dutar, tanbur, rubâb and violin -- and various traditional percussion instruments -- doira, nagara, kairak.
